The NBPLAR Action Group is established to promote and facilitate the delivery of prior learning assessment and recognition (PLAR) practices in New Brunswick through increased awareness, collaboration and common terminology and tools.

  1. To recommend and develop policies, procedures and guidelines to promote the provincial coordination of PLAR activities.
  2. To encourage NBPLAR stakeholders to expand and develop their policies and practices related to PLAR
  3. To provide a leadership role in educating and informing New Brunswickers about PLAR
